Fuffpack Player Guide 🐮
Welcome to the Fuffpack, a cozy-but-adventurous modded survival SMP. This guide covers what's in the pack, how to protect your stuff, and the commands and controls you'll actually use.
Getting started
- Install the pack from Modrinth using the Modrinth app. The server is already in your multiplayer list.
- Open the quest book. It's the best way to learn the pack. Each chapter walks you through a group of mods and gives small rewards. Open it from the button in your inventory, or with its key in Options > Controls.
- Use JEI to look up recipes. JEI is the item list on the right of your inventory. Hover an item and press R to see how to make it, or U to see what it's used in. Type
@modnamein the search bar (for example@farmersdelight) to see everything one mod adds. - Look at things to identify them. Jade shows a small box at the top of your screen saying what you're looking at and which mod it's from.
- Check your controls. Many mods add their own keys. Open Options > Controls > Key Binds and look through them, especially if two keys clash.

Protecting your stuff
Claim your base as soon as you settle. Open Parties and Claims lets you claim chunks so nobody else can break blocks, open chests or hurt animals there.
- On the map: open the world map (M), right-click the chunks you want, and choose to claim them. Claimed chunks are coloured on the map.
- By command: stand in a chunk and run
/oclaims claim. Use/oclaims unclaimto give it up. - Let friends in: create a party with
/oparties createand invite them with/oparties invite <player>. Party members can use your claims. - Settings: open the Open Parties and Claims menu with its key (see Options > Controls) to change who can do what in your claims.
There's a limit on how many chunks you can claim, so claim your base first.
Other ways your stuff is kept safe:
- Graves: when you die, your items go into a grave where you fell. Only you can open it, so head back and collect them.
- Per-player loot: chests in dungeons and structures give everyone their own loot. If someone got there first, you'll still get yours.
- Logging: every block placed or broken and every chest opened is recorded, so staff can find and undo griefing.

Rules, help and tips
Server rules
- Be kind. No harassment, hate speech or targeting other players.
- No griefing or stealing. Don't break, take or change anything that isn't yours, even outside claims. Everything is logged.
- No cheats or exploits. No hacked clients, X-ray, duplication glitches or abusing bugs. Report bugs to staff instead.
- Respect the stream. Saithsfuff streams on the server. Keep chat friendly and don't spoil, spam or interrupt her stream.
- Listen to staff. If you disagree with a decision, talk to them privately or ask an admin.
Getting help
- Ask in chat. Staff have a [Staff] tag, and other players are usually happy to help too.
- For anything private, such as reporting a player, send a staff member a
/msgor report it in the Discord. - Check the quest book and JEI first: most "how do I make this?" questions are answered there.
Tips for your first day
- Make a Flint Knife and a Cutting Board early. Farmer's Delight meals keep you fed far longer than vanilla food.
- Watch the temperature. Bring fur armour to cold biomes and a Waterskin to hot ones.
- Activate every waystone you find. It saves hours of walking later.
- Claim your base on day one.
- Set a waypoint at home on your map so you can always find your way back.
